The Painted Mane Salon was established in May of 2018. When coming up with the salon name I knew I wanted to create a name that would catch your eye and had meaning to me. I have always called my clients hair their “manes” , and as far as the “painted” part, well we do a lot of hair painting here! TPM is located right in the heart of The Plains, VA. You can easily get to us from 66, 17 or 55 ! Nestled directly behind The Front Porch restaurant and in walking distance to Happy Creek Coffee + a few other shops , you can enjoy all of the town all while processing or waiting for your appointment! The salon is a free standing 80 year old home newly  renovated and wrapped in beautiful windows giving an abundance of natural lighting. All of the decor gives off very natural boho vibes all while tying in some of the rustic elements from the town. We focus on blondes, lived in color and Handtied extensions, but also offer a wide range of services ! We hope you feel just as much at home here as we do every time we step through the doors.
